Very few people realise that infact the Giza pyramids are actually 8 sided, they have a very slight conclave which can only bee seen from aerial shots of the great pyramids. 

I have replicated the 8 sided pyramids to exact scale including the exact conclave measurements, its difficult to see from the pictures but you can clearly see the indent on the actual pyramid when you hold it to the light. 

The centers of the four sides are indented with an amazing degree of accuracy (1.72 degrees) forming the 8 sided pyramid
